Out of Hours

If you are in need of medical treatment outside of our operating hours you will need to contact NHS 111

If you contact this service, you will be assessed and advised about the most appropriate care for you. This may be advice over the phone by a doctor or nurse or you may be given an appointment to see a doctor at an Out of Hours Treatment Centre locally.

The GP Out of Hours Treatment Centres are not drop-in or walk-in centres, patients will only be seen by appointment by calling NHS 111

Call 999 or visit your nearest Emergency Department (A&E) for emergencies such as loss of consciousness, severe chest pain, serious accidents or serious loss of blood.

For general health advice, take a look at their website.

Choose Well

Choose Well will help you decide if you need medical attention if you get sick. It explains what each NHS service does, and when it should be used.

Choosing Well means that you and your family will get the best treatment. It also allows busy NHS services to help the people who need them most.
